What Time Is Check In/Check Out?

Check in begins at 4:00 p.m.
Check out is at 11:00 a.m.

Can I Get Early Check In/Late Check Out?

It’s all based on room availability. We can take requests for both an early check-in and late check-out. For a guaranteed early check-in of 1 pm or a late checkout there is a $25 charge.

While we’re unable to guarantee early access or delayed departure, we do welcome you to arrive to the property as early as you wish on the day of your arrival. If the room is not yet available to you, we are happy to store your luggage while you enjoy on-site amenities or a trip into town.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Of course, we do. Plans change.

  • Cancellation 7 days before arrival - no charge.

  • Cancellation 6-4 days before arrival - 50% charge.

  • Cancellation 48 hours before arrival - 100% charge.

Can I Use The Beach?

Certainly! Surfside guests can use the Point No Point beach directly in front of the hotel or walk to Russian Beach at the opposite end of the seawall. Walk in/bike in access to Long Beach and Short Beach is also allowed. Drive in access to Long Beach and Short Beach is available for a fee. But Point No Point Beach and Russian Beach are nicer anyway.

Is there a gym?

Yes! We’ve got a fitness center with two pelotons and free weights. See our calendar for beach yoga, and we can arrange private Yoga sessions on weekends. We’ve got an awesome neighborhood to take a jog around.

What Else Is There To Do?

Lots! Go for a walk, visit a local brewery, find that hidden treasure at a local antique shops, meditate deep thoughts, take a bike and go watch birds at the Great Salt Marsh, or just sit at the beach, the possibilities are endless!

Is there a restaurant on site?

Of course! Little Pub is located on-site and is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, drinks, & snacks. They’re also open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10am!

Is there a bar on site?

You bet! Visit the boat bar inside Little Pub.

What about room service?

Glad you asked! We offer room service in a few forms. One is take-out from Little Pub that we will gladly deliver to your room if you use the QR code.

Are there refrigerators in the rooms?

Yep! All rooms have an empty mini-refrigerator for personal use.

Can I Bring The Kids?

Of course! Children of all ages are welcome.

Can I Bring My Dog?

Yes! We can only accept dogs under 35 pounds in our
3 exterior rooms (8, 9, and 10).

Please be advised that we will apply a one-time cleaning fee
of $195 to your room charge if there is an “accident”.
Pets are not permitted in our interior rooms. The yapping might bother other guests or they might be allergic to dogs.

Can I Smoke?

Sorry, it’s a hard NO on that one. For the comfort of all of our guests, the Surfside is a smoke-free zone and all rooms are designated non-smoking*. Think about it, if you smoke in your room, and the next guest is allergic to smoke, then what are we supposed to do? We’ve got to get ServPro in there to clean it and that costs $$$ so a $500 cleaning fee will be applied to your room charge for not respecting this policy.

*This includes all kinds of cigarettes- even those funky electronic ones that smell like grape soda- cannabis, vaping, cigars, etc. .

Do You Have ADA Rooms?

Yes, select rooms are ADA compliant.
Please call the hotel directly to check availability

What's Up With The Artwork? Can I Buy Some?

All rooms feature original artworks by EvilTwin™ Collective, Elena McCoy and Callahan Artist*. If you are interested in an EvilTwin™ Seascape let us know and we can put you in touch with the Collective.  More info on Elena McCoy and her pool series can be found here: https://www.elenamccoy.com/.

*Callahan Artist is a bit of a recluse who travels between studios in London and Rowayton. We do not know where to find him. He delivers new works from time to time with a “display all or return all” mandate.

Reviews

That Rooftop Porch view! WOW!! When I was looking For a last minute staycation with the kids, I was delighted when the Surfside was finally open and taking bookings online. I was one of the 1st to stay for the soft opening this week so it wasn’t fully staffed, but the Little Pub team and manager made sure all my needs were met! Being a newly renovated hotel my Covid fears were lessened as well!"

“Our stay was immaculate. The bathroom was lovely and for the first time ever, I came home to purchase the soap that they had for use. It was FANTASTIC. We had a rooftop room with a patio looking out over the water and it was perfect! I sat inside the glass sliders and watched the ferries go back and forth and the gulls flying above them. The wifi was about the best we have ever experienced in our travels. I liked the fact that there is an excellent restaurant downstairs which provides takeout. Based on the pandemic, we had brought our own food, but I would be comfortable ordering out from there on our next visit.

"I use to stay a lot when the old owners had it... I was so happy once it opened. I stayed over the weekend with my husband and it was amazing. My husband didn't want to leave! We had a late check out & they were great about it… our room was clean, view was beautiful, and the band outside was great. The food was amazing & the staff was wonderful. My husband and I will be back again very soon.
Thank you for an amazing weekend."
